Vacancy List For IRCTC Recruitment:

Note:- IRCTC invites eligible and qualified candidates for engagement as ‘Hospitality Monitors’ on a contract basis for an initial period of 2 years, extendable by one (01) year based on requirement and satisfactory performance.”

Place of Posting of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation:

• Selected candidates may be posted in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, and Rajasthan; however, they may also be deployed anywhere in India at the discretion of IRCTC.

Remuneration and other allowances:

• CTC: Rs 30,000/- per month (incl. of Statutory Deductions)
• Daily Allowance: Rs 350/- per day for on-duty on-board in train (s) (100% for more than 12 hours, 70% for 6 to 12hours, and 30% for less than 6 hours)
• Lodging Charges: Rs.240/- only if night stay is involved at outstation.
• National Holiday Allowance (NHA): As per extant policy (if worked).
• Medical Insurance: On per month basis as per extant policy (Reimbursable on submission of valid documents)

Eligibility Criteria For IRCTC Jobs:

• Full-time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a Central or State institute of Hotel Management (CIHM/SIHM/ PIHM) affiliated to National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM & CT)/ UGC/AICTE/Government of India. OR

• BBA/MBA(Culinary Arts) from the Indian Culinary Institute under the Ministry of Tourism. OR

• B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science from Government-recognised Universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE/ Government of India/ State Government. OR

• M.B.A (Tourism and Hotel Management) from Government-recognised Universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE/ Government of India/State Government.

Experience:

• Freshers with relevant education al qualification will only be eligible to apply.

Age Limit :

• The maximum age limit for candidates is 28 years.

Age Relaxation for IRCTC:

• Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates as per Government norms: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD, and for Ex-Servicemen, relaxation up to the period of service rendered in Defence plus 3 years.

Mode of Selection for IRCTC Jobs:

• Candidates must fill in the application form (attached with this notification) completely in all respects.
• The duly completed application form must be submitted at the interview venue for verification.
• Candidates should bring original documents, one set of attested copies of required documents, and two recent passport-size photographs.
• The interview will be conducted, and candidates will be shortlisted based on their credentials and performance in the personal interview.
• The offer of engagement will be issued to suitable candidates in order of merit and as per the number of vacancies, subject to verification of antecedents.
• In addition to selected candidates, a 100% Reserve Panel will be formed as required.

Medical fitness:

• Engagement of selected candidates shall be subject to being medically fit as prescribed by IRCTC

General Information:

• The engagement is purely contractual and does not guarantee permanent employment in IRCTC.
• The contract may be terminated by either side with one month’s notice, or without notice if performance is unsatisfactory.
• Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
• Government/PSU employees must apply through proper channel or submit NOC/relieving letter at the time of selection.
• IRCTC reserves the right to cancel or modify the advertisement and selection process without prior notice.
• The number of vacancies may increase or decrease based on organizational requirements.
• Candidates must fulfill eligibility criteria; false information may lead to termination.
• Selected candidates must submit a security deposit of ₹25,000.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
