Eligibility Criteria For Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan:
- PGTs: Post-Graduation in the relevant subject plus a B.Ed with a minimum of 50% marks.
- TGTs: Graduation with two school subjects relevant to the post & B.Ed with OTET- II / CTET –II/ OSTET pass
NOTE: – Non-B.Ed. and Non-OSTET/Non CTET candidate will be eligible if Trained Candidates are not available.

How to Apply for OAVS Recruitment 2026?
- Interested candidates need to visit the official website https://sundargarh.odisha.gov.in/
- Candidates will apply only by speed post. Application by any other means will not be considered.
- Application received after 12.03.2026 will be rejected. Application without xerox copies of all certificates along with marksheets will not be considered.
- If any candidates want to apply for different posts, separate applications with documents should have to be sent by speed post.
- Each candidate must write their name of the post, contact number, and WhatsApp number on the cover of the envelope; otherwise, such application will not be considered.
- No calls, message or information will be given to any candidates for attending certificate verification.
- All candidates who apply by speed post must attend the certificate verification session on the scheduled date and time as mentioned in the advertisement. If any candidate fails to attend the session of certificate verification, his/her application will not be considered for the provisional merit list.
- A nominal processing fee may be charged on the day of certificate verification if the selection committee desires.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending certificate verification.
- No merit list will be published in any newspaper or website. Selected candidates will be informed to join the OAV/OMAV as decided by the Nodal Principal. No message will be given to any unsuccessful candidate.
- As per OAVS norms, no candidate will be posted in the same OAV/OMAV in which they were previously working in consecutive year.
- All candidates who are found fit by the selection committee for purely contractual appointment must sign an agreement with the Principal on a TEN Rupee non-judicial stamp paper.
- All the vacations will be no-pay days and selected candidates cannot avail any kind of leave and the honorarium will be deducted on pro-rata basis for exercising any kind of leave.
- The candidature or selection of a candidate is purely provisional and it can be rejected by the selection committee.
- If the number of candidates is large, certificate verification may continue till evening or even late hours and the candidates must keep patience.
